Loraine Power is the Director of Power Public Speaking and Education (PPSE) and Power Drama School (PDS).

She is an award-winning Teacher (Griffith College Best Academic Achievement Award 2018) and a former Board Member of the Speech and Drama Teachers of Ireland.

Loraine Power has an honours BA in International Business and Languages, A Higher Diploma in Arts in Drama Education and a Licentiate in Speech and Drama (LLSMD).

Before setting up her own business in 2012, Loraine had a successful teaching career working for City of Dublin Education Training Board and Dublin and Dun Laoghaire Education Training Board where she had a phenomenal track record in motivating students to achieve distinctions in their QQI modules and Leaving Cert Applied exams.

Loraine taught QQI modules in Communication Skills, Drama, Career Planning, and Personal & Interpersonal skills.

Prior to teaching, Loraine worked in Supervisory Management positions in Gateway EMEA receiving four promotions during her career (German Reception Supervisor, German Customer Services Supervisor, UK Sales Quality Control Supervisor and German Technical Support Supervisor). During this time, she completed accredited courses in Supervisory Management, Customer Service Delivery, Recruitment and Selection, Performance Appraisals and Time Management

Loraine worked as a Recruitment Consultant for award winning Sigmar Recruitment in their Office and Multilingual Departments and in customer service roles in Australia Post and AMP Insurance, Sydney before pursuing a teaching career and opening her own business.

Loraine’s understanding of business, education, training, and theatre gives her a unique skill set to train adults who want to excel at public speaking in Industry.

PPSE has been founded to provide quality training to adults who wish to improve their public speaking and communication skills.
